Rumberpon Island, Indonesia

Rumberpon island located in the northern Gulf Wondama District, adjacent to Manokwari. This island has beautiful beaches, the sand beaches panjang, of white quartz sand, not rocky, and extends for 6,000 meters. The sea water around the island is clear and there is a reef flat (reef flat)

along the beach with a gently sloping seabed profile along the 100-meter up to the cliff. World-class reefs grow here. Coral reefs is almost evenly spread around the island.

In these waters can be carried out various activities, such as: snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing, water skiing, and fishing. Other activities that can be done is the observation of birds (eg albatrosses) and other unique wildlife, such as couscous.

In this island there is also broad enough Padangan nature where there are deer hunting animals. In the mangrove and seagrass habitats can be found dugongs and sea turtles. To reach the island can Rumberpon directly from Manokwari by sea using a longboat for 5.5 hours or by road from Manokwari to Ransiki (takes about 3 hours) which is then followed by sea to the island of Ransiki Rumberpon using a longboat for about 2 hrs.
