Ujung Kulon National Park

Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon is located at the province of Banten, precisely located on the western-most tip of the java island, with a total area about -/ of 1350 square kilometers, including some islands such as Peucang island, Panaitan and Handeuleum. Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon

has been protected since the Dutch era in the 1921 and officially became a National Park since 1980. Besides bulls (Bos javanicus), some reptiles and birds, the prima donna of Ujung Kulon is the one-horned rhinoceros (Rhinoceros Javan) which is estimated only about 65 species remaining in Ujung Kulon National Park.
