Pink Beach. There are seven pink sandy beaches in the world, one of them on the island of Komodo. Komodo National Park (KNP), Flores, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The locals call it the Red Beach. Foreign tourists call it Pink Beach. This beach is beautiful and unique. Stretch of beach with sea water background shades of blue, green hills, clear blue sky, white clouds lumpy, bright sun, and sand-colored pink. That's a privilege to have this beach. The next attraction is, at the Pink Beach no building anything and not inhabited any one population. The beach was empty. Why is Pink, the Pink Beach ?

Pink color on the sand came from Corral pipe or pipe-shaped coral reef which die naturally and then crushed into fine grains of sand pink. That process diperkirkan happened hundreds of years ago. Some even predicted thousands of years ago. But there is also the opinion of red in the sand at the Pink Beach due to discoloration of the sand, microscopic animals such as amoeba, called Foraminifera which produce red or pink light on the reef. The colors on the reef it's finally come to give color to the sand waves are then swept up to the beach. The beach is quiet comfortable and feels it does have a unique sand. There is red sand in between the white sand. When the waves come sweeping the sand and pull it, then sand the color changed to dark pink. Grains of sand smooth and soft.

The beach is unique and is a natural indeed suck up a lot of attention. Local and foreign tourists are already busy visiting here. Most of the beach to enjoy the uniqueness and atmosphere of quiet, natural, and not that commercial. The main one of course for snorkeling and diving.

Do not forget, Pink Beach is already a "prey" great company to be the object or background / illustration advertising their products. On the other hand, the Pink Beach become a major destination for marine tourism in the home and abroad as a place to senorkeling and diving.
