Backpacking on "free" Nature

Saturday, November 19, 2011

If you liked the streets but wants a do-it-yourself independent of the type of traveling is the best choice. Only the preparations of the need to set goals to visa matters. Here is the workflow that I normally use :

1. Specify multiple destination options. This option can be a personal ambition or the solicitation of friends. Perform data mining on those places either through books, internet or print magazine. Do not be too confident with the way other people, because the travel is personal. Something that fits our personality.

2. Then determine what we can do there. Going shopping or trekking? want to chill out or Suffering? Sometimes we are tempted to do a lot of activity there. It could be
that you actually collapsed because of exhaustion. Consider the weather, body condition and time available.

3. Observe mode of transportation. It seems important for the independent traveler because obviously you have to set the movement from one location to another. Panteng budget flight if there are special offers. ZUJI even provide personal teacher to monitor the pathways that we seek. Do not hesitate to use public transport like bus or boat. Find fun crammed on a bus or enjoy the scenery along the river.

4. Determining the route. When you are confident then create your own itinerary, can be either round up or loop. Is it clockwise or counterclockwise, even random. This relates to activities and transport leg. Do you need a return ticket or Oneway?

5. Alert to the danger. This is my usual research barengkan with the country of destination. Travel advice from the FCO is a referral to see the local situation. Relation to this is travel insurance and vaccinations. Hazards such as viruses and current terrorist threat to the traveler. If you type 'die hard travelers' make sure you know the enemy before the deal.

6. Check travel documents. See if you need a new passport or visa is required. Asean countries such as Laos and Cambodia still require a visa for Indonesia. Visas can be obtained on arrival (usually at the airport / main entrance) or at the embassy of the country concerned. Some Asian countries require a passport at least 3 months old, was the United States and Europe requires 6 months. Do not forget to bring the old passport, if necessary, make one with a new one.

7. About the inn. For the backpacker who guided the earth is the home and the sky is the roof then this is not the most important thing. Lined hostels, guesthouses jasmine class ready to accommodate on-site activities include helping. The principle is: "Sleeping in any home can go everywhere".

8. Last but not the least: be prepare for the unexpected! Do not expect too big for this trip. Enjoy what it is. Learn about local life, to know the local culture and language. Ok have a nice trip!
